Continuing to provide agricultural financing solutions to producers across the country, Conterra Ag Capital has hired Darren Anderson as Vice President Relationship Manager, serving the Eastern Cornbelt and Great Lakes regions.
Anderson brings over 25 years of ag lending experience in the region, with knowledge gained through hands-on client visits to farms and agribusinesses throughout the Eastern Corn Belt. He has served as mentor for many ag lenders, sharing his insights and knowledge. His practical experience in crop insurance and ag real estate appraisal provides a deeper insight into the needs of his clients.
“I pride myself on being a lender with integrity,” said Anderson. “The Conterra team and organizational culture align with my deep-seated roots and appreciation for farming. I look forward to engaging with a broad spectrum of farmers and agribusinesses, bringing them access to our multiple sources of ag capital.”
With his lengthy background in ag lending, he is prepared to make a significant impact on the continued development of American agriculture in the eastern U.S. “Darren is driven to advocate for the farmers in his area,” said Jake Espenmiller, Conterra chief lending officer. “We are fortunate to add him to our national team of ag lending experts.”
Anderson resides in Indiana and is a graduate of Ball State University, with a degree in Economics.
