EXPERIENCED INVESTMENT ACCOUNTANT JOINS CONTERRA AG CAPITAL TEAM AS CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
DES MOINES, Iowa, July 31, 2019 — Conterra Ag Capital has expanded their executive leadership team at their corporate office in West Des Moines, Iowa. With a broad background in investment accounting, Angie McGargill has been named chief financial officer at Conterra Ag.
McGargill graduated from the University of Wisconsin and began her career in public accounting as audit manager for KPMG LLP. Her experience with financial services led her to become director of investment accounting at Athene and assistant vice president at Fidelity & Guaranty Life. In those roles, McGargill became a subject matter expert in accounting for various investment vehicles, including fixed income securities, mortgage loans, derivatives and alternative investments.
“Angie brings a vast amount of experience in investment accounting,” said Conterra Ag President and CEO Paul Erickson. “It’s exciting to have her working alongside our investors as we continue to grow and expand our agricultural lending and finance throughout the United States.”
She currently lives in Urbandale, Iowa with her husband, Ryan, and their three children.
