DAVIS SELECTED AS CONTERRA AG CAPITAL RELATIONSHIP MANAGER FOR CALIFORNIA, PACIFIC NORTHWEST
DES MOINES, Iowa — Jim Davis has joined the Conterra Ag Capital team as vice president relationship manager for California and the Pacific Northwest.
With deep roots in ag lending, the eastern-Idaho native has accumulated nearly 30 years of experience. Spending most of his career directly focused on assisting farmers and ranchers with financing needs, Davis says the relationship manager position will allow him to do what he loves — directly support producers.
“I’m very excited to be joining the Conterra team where I have the tools needed to help producers of all kinds in my home region,” said Davis. “My experience and industry knowledge will enhance and complement Conterra’s objectives to assist producers in reaching their goals.”
Davis brings a litany of previously established relationships in California and the Pacific Northwest region. Currently residing in Meridian, Idaho, he also sees first-hand the impact agriculture has on the state’s economy.
Conterra President and CEO Paul Erickson says that makes Davis fit well in to Conterra’s mission and growing team.
“Jim’s extensive lending experience and in-depth knowledge of Idaho and the Pacific Northwest will further support the producers in his region,” Erickson said. “We are pleased to have Jim join the Conterra team as we work together to finance American agriculture.”
Davis’ passion for agriculture and supporting those who produce the country’s feed, fuel and fiber motivates him as he steps into the role of relationship manager.
“American agriculture is one of the most important economic sectors in the country,” Davis said. “Without food, nothing else matters. I’m excited to be back working directly with the farmers, ranchers and dairymen who keep the impressive American ag machine moving foward.”
