Jim has deep roots in ag lending, as eastern-Idaho native he has accumulated nearly 30 years of experience. Jim has been focused on assisting farmers and ranchers with financing needs.

Davis brings a litany of previously established relationships in California and the Pacific Northwest region. Currently residing in Meridian, Idaho, Jim knows first-hand the impact agriculture has on the state’s economy.

Jim has a passion for agriculture and supporting those who produce the country’s feed, fuel and fiber motivates him to assist the industry with financing services. Jim is dedicated to providing superior ag lending services in the northwest region of the United States.

Oregon agriculture

Conterra knows Oregon agricultural has many specialty crops that are labor intensive. Oregon ranks 26th in agricultural output among states. The state also leads the nation in production of blackberries and other commodities. The main commodities in Oregon agriculture are milk, nursery stock, hops, cattle and calves, berries, pears, potatoes, eggs, onions, cherries, hay, and sweet corn.

IDAHO AGRICULTURE

Conterra understands that Idaho is best known for its beef and potatoes. Idaho produces over 12 billion pounds of potatoes annually. Over 2 million cattle are raised on ranches to produce quality beef for retailers and restaurants. The main commodities in Idaho agriculture are potatoes, beef cattle, hay, wheat, milk, barley, and sugar beets.

MONTANA AGRICULTURE

Conterra knows cattle and wheat remain Montana’s largest commodities. Montana’s agriculture ranks first in production of certified organic wheat. Beef herds are also sold to ranches as far as Russia and Argentina. The main commodities in Montana agriculture are cattle and calves, wheat, and hay.

Conterra understands Wyoming agriculture is the way of life in the state. The Cowboy State has over 30 million acres of farmland and 11,000 farms produce commodities across the state. Wyoming’s production of beef cattle is also the biggest part of the of its agricultural industry. The main commodities in Wyoming agriculture are wheat, oats, beef cattle, and corn (maize).

California is the world’s fifth largest supplier of food, cotton fiber and other agricultural commodities. California produces more than 400 different crops—everything from world- renowned wines to specialty items such as almonds and raisins. The Golden State is the nation’s sole producer (99 percent or more) of many specialty crops, such as: almonds, artichokes, peaches, prunes, garlic, olives, pistachios, pomegranates, tomatoes, raisins, and walnuts. California also produces half of the U.S. – grown fruits and vegetables. The Central Valley of California is one of the world's most productive agricultural regions. More than 230 crops are grown here. Its agricultural productivity relies on irrigation both from surface water diversions and from groundwater pumping (wells). About one-sixth of the irrigated land in the U.S. is in the Central Valley.
