Loan Administrator

Conterra Ag Capital, a growing agricultural lending and asset management company located in West Des Moines and serving agricultural producers nationwide, is seeking a Loan Administrator to join its Servicing Department.  The Loan Administrator will be responsible for supporting and facilitating the servicing actions related to agricultural loans.  Ideal candidates will have a basic knowledge of ag real estate and/or commercial lending. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Loan Administrator works collaboratively with the Servicing and Legal Departments on a daily basis and will assist the Closing Department when available.   The Loan Administrator generally is assigned the following duties and responsibilities:

• Assists with monthly reporting.
• Evaluates and prepares loan payoffs, revolver draws/pay downs.
• Assists in evaluating and preparing loan recommendations and documents on a variety of servicing matters, including partial releases, transfer of ownership, substitution of property and loan payoffs.
• Completes system changes due to service actions on loans.
• Assists with monitoring of payment of property taxes, UCC filings, insurance, future loan maturities and delinquent loans.
• Assists with monitoring of borrower compliance with loan requirements.
• Provides front line customer service to investors, field servicers and borrowers.
• Maintains loan files with documentation of items that occur after loan closing.
• Assists with on-boarding and checking of new loans in servicing platform.

Experience/Qualifications:

The following experience is representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability desired for the position:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Experience in customer service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of and proficiency with MS Office programs.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as the situation dictates.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize work, be detail oriented, and manage deadlines.
